Moosehead Lake Maine- First week of Spring Seems More Like Winter
The first day of spring in Greenville Maine Moosehead Lake Region saw 5 inches of snow and its snowing again today as I write this. Snow showers and cold temps expected for rest of the week is a welcome sight for spring snowmobiling as this on top of the frozen base we already have will extend the season well into April.
Spring weather will be welcomed by all as this winter has been one to remember with weekly storms back to back. Spring is a great time for reconnecting with nature and watching the wildlife come out of the woods. Maine Maple Syrup Houses open to the public offering tours and sampling. http://www.mooseheadcabins.com/maine_spring_trip.html - A traditional way to celebrate the promise of spring and the opening of rivers, streams and lakes. Quiet Season rates for Maine Cabin Getaways now available. Book your cabin getaway today, call 207-695-0242 for reservations and information.
